I have a confession to make. I don't particularly like the holiday season. I love Christmas day and the family time that goes along with it, but I could definitely live without most of what leads up to it. I despise the Christmas music you are forced to listen to if you go to public places, I'm not fond of shopping, and all the extra events just stress me out! There is one exception, however. I absolutely LOVE getting holiday cards, especially if they include a picture. But the very best greetings are those that include a picture AND a letter! It seems we are so busy throughout the year, and it's really nice to get letters and pictures at least once a year to keep us connected to our friends and family that we don't get to see often enough.
