Two of my kids spent the night at my grandma's house last night. At least one of them goes over there every other weekend, and Grandma always sends a "care package" home with them that is essentially all the junk food she buys them while they're over there that they don't get at home. When my kids came home today, they had a surprise for me in their care package - my grandma's potato salad! My son and I are the only ones in our family who like potato salad, so we don't get it very often. Grandma usually makes it when we get together for holidays or on my birthday, but it was so sweet of her to make it for us out of the blue this weekend!
